Some questions
Do people travel that much? Wouldn’t this work better as an application on one of the major social networking sites?
In their own words
“TrekinU’s unique Web 2.0 offering is designed to preserve travel memories and create travel adventures, bringing together friends, family and travelers in an engaging online environment.”
Why it might be a killer
The ability to keep track of road and other kinds of trips is a great foundation for an online community.
What it does
If you are going on the road and are thinking of keeping track of your journey, then Trekinu.com has what you need. Through the site, you’ll be able to keep a detailed travel log of your adventures on the road. The site has an interactive interface that makes writing about your trip and reading about others’ trips fun. The site uses your GPS enabled phone to track your trip’s progress on an interactive map. Once you create your account, you’ll be able to keep up with all of your friend’s trips. This makes the site an online community of travellers who are sharing their trips through the internet. Uploading a trek is both easy and quick. This means that you won’t have to spend hours in front of the computer while you are supposed to be enjoying your trip. By seeing where your friends are travelling to, you can arrange to meet them while on the way. This adds a whole new level to the original road trip experience.

Some questions
Why is the site so simple? Do they plan on making it a little bit more interactive?
In their own words
“ListCamp is an application for creating lists and sharing resources.”
Why it might be a killer
Like I mentioned before, this site is a great way to measure what crowds really like.
What it does
Are you up for some list making? This often-overlooked hobby provides distraction for millions of people. Over at Listcamp.com you’ll be able to start lists for others to finish. For example: you can start a list of the most useful Firefox Addons. The list will then allow other users to read it and modify it by a vote system. People have been talking about the wisdom of crowds for years, but this is the first site I’ve ever seen that could successfully measure it. Companies could use the information on the site to determine how popular their product is or what people find useful about it. Since the concept is so vague, there really is no limit to what you can do with these lists. The site uses Google accounts to sign in. Anyone with a Google account is instantly eligible to start making lists and sharing them with their friends.

“Greenplanetsearch.com is not just another internet website designed to answer a question no one has asked. Rather, it is an environmental search engine like no other.”
Why it might be a killer
This site could become a hub for all the environmentally friendly sites on the internet. Investors should keep a close eye on it.
What it does
Green is the new black. Nowadays, everywhere we turn, people are using the environment as a way to sell their products. Over at Greenplanetsearch.com, you’ll be able to find a network of websites, all dealing with the environment and especially on how to improve it. If you run a site that deals with the environmental concept, you are welcome to submit it to the network. This will allow you to get more exposure within the crowd you want to target. The site works as a sort of homepage for anyone who is looking to learn more about how to improve the environment. Although not vital to the concept, the site’s interface must be pointed out. The website design is right on point, adding a lot to the site surfing experience. Since looks are not everything, the site’s content is also a great asset. If you are looking to learn about the environment, then you definitely have to check it out.
Some questions
Isn’t the concept a little limited? Shouldn’t they try to add more to it?

What it does
Imagine a world where you can get money by just accepting a job. That might sound farfetched to some, but that is what Moneybackjobs.com is all about. Like in any other job search site, you’ll be able to find jobs posted on there. The catch is, that once you accept a job you found through the site, you’ll get up to 7.5% of your first month’s salary as a hiring bonus. This allows employers who post jobs up on the site to quickly find people to take them. It also allows the site to control how many people are actually finding jobs through them. Companies can pay the site to feature them on it. Basically, by giving the job applicant money once he or she accepts the job, they make sure that the company that just hired you pays them for the job. It’s a surprisingly simple concept that works for everybody.
In their own words
“Moneybackjobs.com has been launched with the goal of creating a more fun and hip job search tool than other "stuffy" job boards and recruiting solutions that exist out there.”
Why it might be a killer
By giving people money for finding a job, they make sure that people who find a job through their site recommend them to their friends. This type of word of mouth approach has been a big factor in all major startup companies.
Some questions
Won’t people take jobs just to get the money? Is paying up to 12% of a salary worth it for a company to find new employees?

What it does
If you are an up-and-coming photographer looking to make a few extra bucks, then you should check out Photrade.com. Through this site, you’ll be able to post your best images and place them on sale. The great thing about the site is that you can set many different prices for each picture, depending on the size of it. For instance, if someone wants to make a mural from your picture, you wouldn’t charge them the same as a person who wanted to print it onto a coffee mug. Sharing pictures online has been around almost as long as the internet, but making money from them is a completely new concept. It will give people new to the world of professional photography the extra exposure they need to break through with their work, while also fattening up their pockets. Sorting through images is simple, as the photographers can categorize them and tag them according to their content.
In their own words
“Photrade is where photographers reclaim ownership of their photos. Photraders decide how, when, where and at what cost their photos are used online.”
Why it might be a killer
If there is something people like, it’s to make money. This site gives them the chance to do that by just posting the same pictures they might have put online for free anyways.
Some questions
How is the money sent to the user? Is there a way to avoid scams?
